Notes

The Bellerophon Class is a medium sized ship in service in the 2250s. The USS Farragut was attacked by a rogue ship, which destroyed a planet an further damaged the Farragut. The USS Enterprise came to the rescue and eventually destroyed the rogue ship. [2]

Ships of the class were seen at Starabase 1 during the celebration of Federation day. [3]

The USS Farragut assisted the USS Enterprise in providing the power of two starships to open a gateway on the planet Skygowan. A feat that required each ship to be piloted in complete syncronistity, which Spock and Kirk achieved using a mind meld.  [4]
