A native of Barkon IV, Skoran was a blacksmith in the village which sheltered Lieutenant Commander Data when he suffered an accident on the planet. Like many of his people, Skoran became contaminated with radiation from parts of a Starfleet probe which Data was carrying. Fortunately Data was able to devise a cure and he survived. [1]
