A Klingon, Morqla served as Governor of the planet Palgrenax in 2265. He was rather contemptuous of the Palgrenai, though he did admire their tenacity in attempting to resist the Klingon occupation of their planet. [1]

Morqla was witness to the reactivation of the Shedai structures on the planet and subsequent release of hostile life forms from them. When a Klingon cruiser in orbit bombarded the planet, the Shedai responded by destroying it. Morqla was killed in the explosion. [1]
