An Enaran, Jareth was a political leader during the genocide of the "Regressive" faction of the population. He managed to convince his daughter Korenna that the Regressives were simply being resettled and that Dathan, the Regressive who she was romantically involved with, was abusing her trust to gain an advantage for himself. Korenna believed the lies and betrayed Dathan, leading to his death. [1]
