What's new - Feb 2026

I've noticed a certain proportion of the new images, although very much better than those that came before them, were quite soft. I've now started re-running the conversion process with some additional options enabled. This has resulted in far sharper images, see for example The 37's which has been updated. With some it's a subtle distinction with others it's quite dramatic. This means I will be stalling the updates for a while I reconvert the videos. The latter end of season 2 is up dated.

Each episode takes about 6-8 hours to process on my M4 Mac Mini. So it may be a while. I will continue to work through season 2 and then return to season 1, returning to 3 and later when they are done.

The same process is being applied to DS9 and it is resulting in some excellent output.
