The Plating Repair Robot is a device used to help repair starships with battle damage. It's a small semi-humanoid robot that is able to lift an entire armament plate, take it away while another Robot has the replacement plate ready to put into place. A whole stream of robots can be available to repair large areas in a short amount of time. [1]
