Persephone V [3] This world was the home of Admiral Mark Jameson in 2364. [3]
Persephone III [4] The third planet in the Persephone system, an arid Class M planet populated with a pre warp civilisation who called themselves the Deleb. It was located in the Alpha Quadrant at galactic coordinates 3876.5452. It had a rotation period of 24.1 hours and an orbital period of 391 solar days. It had an estimated mass of 5.39440x1024 kilograms and an estimated age of 4.345x109 solar years. It had an atmospheric composition of 79% nitrogen, 19% oxygen, 0.9% argon, 0.7% carbon monoxide and traces of methane and boron. In 2258 it had 0.2% of water vapour. It had a mean surface temperature of 15.3°C.

In 2258 a comet C/2260-Quentin passed by and a significant amount of water vapour was deposited into the atmosphere. This resulted in improved conditions on the planet. [4]
Psi 2000 [5] The Enterprise was nearly destroyed here when the crew was incapcitated by a disease which mimicked the effect of alcohol. [5]
Pluto [6] Sol IX. The Enterprise-B's maiden voyage was planned to be a short trip to Pluto and back at impulse speeds. [7]
Pullock V [8] Site of the first off-planet raid by the Bajoran resistance; probably a Cardassian world. [8]
Pentarus II [9] Shuttle Nenbeck was thought to have crashed here [9]
Prospero Alpha [10] Prospero Alpha was an inhabited M class planet in the Prospero system. It had a single moon. [10]

The planet was located at coordinates 3355.7004. It had day length of 27.7 hours and a year length of 431 days. Its mass was approximately 6.01034x1024Kg. Iit was estimated to have an age of 6.338 billion years. The atmosphere was composed of 78% molecular nitrogen, 20% molecular oxygen, 1% argon, 0.4% carbon dioxide, 0.4% water vapor, and trace amounts of methane. The surface temperature had an average of 15.4°C and 7% of its surface was covered with water. [10]

Following the Federation - Klingon war, Prospero Alpha engaged in years of infighting with the other two populated planets in its star system. The Prospero system came under Federation jurisdiction. They dispatched Ambassador Dak'Rah, a Klingon, to negotiate an armistice between the three planets. Dak'Rah found the delegates Prospero stubborn, perticularly those from Prospero Alpha. He described obtaining agreement as being akin to "getting a Tellarite to give a compliment". The cease-fire was finally signed in 2259, after which the USS Enterprise was given the task of transferring Dak'Rah to Starbase 12. [10]
Prospect VII [11] Prospect VII is an Alpha Quadrant L-Class planet with a rotation period of 28.2 hours. A year lasts 325.3 solar days. It has an estimated mass of 3.183x1024Kg. It eas estimated to be 3.194x109 years old in 2258. It has a mean surface temperature 21.3°C. It's atmosphere is composed of 73% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen, 2% CO2, 0.3% Neon, 0.04% Helium and 0.5% water vapour. It also contains trace amounts of Methane, Krypton and Hydrogen. [11]

The planet is occupied by a breakaway group of settlers from xxx, who disagree with the system of the "First Servant", I child who is attached to a machine that keeps the planet habitable at the expense of their life. The settlers scratch out a meagre existence on Prospect VII, barely living above a subsistence level. [11]
Paxa Possible name for a planet encountered by the Enterprise-D in 2367, home to the Paxans, a strongly isolationist species. The name is inferred by the species name and may not be correct. [12]
Parada IV [13] Planet with seven moons [13]
Peliar Zel [14] Planet whose two moons warred on one another [14]
Paan Mokar / Weytahn [15] Planet whose ownership was disputed by the Vulcans and Andorians. Located on the frontier between the two powers, the dispute nearly caused three wars during 21st and 22nd centuries. Only slightly larger than Earth's moon, the planet was originally class D until it was terraformed by the Andorians after they colonised it in 2052. The Vulcans became concerned that the settlement was a military outpost and claimed the planet in 2097, removing the colonists by force. It remained uninhabited until the Andorians landed a small force in 2152, prompting further hostilities. Captain Archer was able to negotiate a cease fire. [15]
Pentarus V [9] Planet which petitioned Picard to mediate a labour dispute [9]
Paragaan II [16] Planet where a Paraagan mining camp was destroyed by an explosion apparently caused by a shuttlepod from the NX-01 Enterprise. In fact the Suliban were responsible. [16]
Penthara IV [17] Planet the Enterprise saved from ecological disaster while being investigated by a time traveler [17]
Phanos [18] Planet once settled by a group of Talaxians. There was a great deal of unoccupied territory on the planet, but the local government limited their settlement to a very small area, supposedly as a quarantine measure against possible alien diseases. Dexa's uncle, Neelix, began farming outside the designated area and was killed ina confrontation with the security services. The Talaxians left Phanos shortly afterwards and settled on an asteroid. [18]
Pernaia prime [19] Planet on which T'Pol visited in her persuit of the renegade Vulcan Menos. It has a methane based atmosphere. [19]
Parsion III [20] Planet on which deposits of feldomite were unexpectedly discovered in 2373. [20]
Potak III [21] Planet in the Delta Quadrant. [21]
Preenos [22] Planet from which the spice hajjlaran originates. Warlords there use the spice as a test of courage. [22]
Parnassus Beta [23] Parnassus Beta is a planet just outside of Federation space, however, it is home to a Federation colony in 2259. The planet had at least three moons and orbited a yellow star. The colony founders used the small town model and based it on towns from the western United States. The USS Cayuga visited them to help stabilise their crop and provide the required vaccinations for the colonists. The leaders of the colony understood the benefits of Federation membership but were also concerned that being members of the Federation put a target on their heads. [23]

During a subspace call between Captain Pike and Captain Batel, who was on the planet during the call, the signal was lost and all attempts to reconnect failed. Shortly afterwards a huge spaceship appeared in the upper atmosphere and was identified as Gorn. Captain Batel managed to get an emergency signal off requesting assistance from any near by ship and say that they were under attack by the Gorn. [23]
Pacifica [24] Ocean world which the Enterprise-D was due to visit on a scientific mission in 2364. Commander Riker characterised it as an ocean world of warm blue waters and fine beaches that he thought made it "a jewel of the galaxy." The Enterprise diverted from the mission at the request of Walter Keel, who sought to inform Picard of a mysterious conspiracy that he believed was overtaking Starfleet. [24] A conference was held on Pacifica in 2365 to determine whether Antede III would be allowed the join the Federation; the Enterprise-D transported a pair of Antedeans to Pacifica to attend the conference, though they proved to be assassins intent on sabotaging it. [25]

Pacifica is the home planet of the Selkie species, a race of intelligent seagoing lifeforms. [26]

Praxis [29] Klingon moon, their key energy production facility until 2293 when it was largely destroyed in an accident caused by overmining and insufficient safety precautions. [29]

Pandril [32] Home world of the Pandrilite civilisation. In 2381 Pandril was one of the Alpha Quadrant planets targeted in the Borg attack. The planet was devastated in the attack. [32]
Platonius [33] Home of the Platonians [33]
Pendi II [34] Home of a trader who supplied information to the Maquis. [34]
Prakal II [35] Guinan acquired an unusual drink here [35]
Pollux IV [31] Greek god Apollo tried to recruit Kirk as a worshipper here. [31]
Planet Q [36] Federation planet, the home of Thomas Leighton. In 2266 Leighton arranged for the USS Enterprise to be diverted to Planet Q so that he could inform Captain Kirk of his suspicion that Anton Karidian was in fact the infamous Kodos the Executioner. [36]
Prema II [37] Delta Quadrant; Talaxian mining colony [37]
Porakas IV [38] Delta quadrant planet. Neelix obtained some Porakan eggs here in 2373. [38]
Parliament [39] Conference planet in the Beta Renna system. [39]
Prophet's Landing [40] Bajoran colony nearest Cardassian border [40]
Pythro V [41] An inhabited planet which cooperated with Bajor on legal matters. Martus Mazur cheated an elderly Pythron couple of their life savings in 2370. They eventually signed a complaint against him, allowing Constable Odo to arrest him. [41]
Prospero Gamma A third inhabited planet in the Prospero system. At war with the other two inhabited planets in the system. Ambassador Dak'Rah, a Klingon, to negotiate an armistice between the three planets in 2259. [10]
Prospero Beta A second planet in the Prospero system. Inhabited and in a state of war with two other planets in the system. Ambassador Dak'Rah, a Klingon, to negotiate an armistice between the three planets in 2259. [10]
Palgrenax [42] A planet located within the Taurus Reach, and the home world of the Palgrenai. In galactic terms Palgrenax possessed nothing of military or political value. Mineral ores on the planet were of marginal use for refining or energy generation, and were especially lacking in materials used in Klingon warships. The planet was too remote from Federation colonies and patrol routes to have any real strategic value for the Klingons. Nevertheless, they conquered the planet in the mid 23rd century. [42]

Palgrenax was home to a collection of ancient ruins located on one continent. The Chancellor and High council were interested in the ancient structures, and the Klingon Governor Morqla speculated that this may be the reason behind their conquest. When the Klingon scientists analysing the object managed to activate it, a member of the Shedai species which had constructed the device used it to attack the Klingon occupation forces. A cruiser in orbit bombarded the alien structures in reprisal, prompting the Shedai to destroy the planet. [42]
Pentath III [2] A Cardassian planet, the infrastructure of this world was largely destroyed during the brief war with the Klingons. After an outbreak of Rudellian plague several relief convoys were sent to the planet; Starfleet provided the USS Defiant to escort one such convoy. [2]
Portas V [30] A Breen planet. [30]
