An officer aboard the NX-09 ISS Avenger in the Mirror universe, Soval harboured a secret desire to see his people free of the Terran Empire. He conspired with the Mirror Phlox and T'Pol to sabotage the USS Defiant after Archer captured it, recognising that Archer would otherwise use the ship to destroy the rebellion against the Empire and punish the planets of the species involved, including Vulcan. Unfortunately the plot failed and Soval was killed when the Defiant destroyed the Avenger. [1]
