A native of the planet Edo, Rivan had the easygoing attitude to life which is common to her people. She did firmly believe in the rather unusual justice system which her planet employed, and believed that Wesley Crusher deserved the death penalty for trespassing on a flowerbed. Rivan briefly travelled to the Enterprise-D, where she saw a mysterious trans-dimensional being in orbit which she believed to be her god. [1]
