A member of the crew of the NCC 1701 Enterprise, DeSalle was involved in several of the ship's most famous incidents. He visited Omicron Ceti III, where he came under the influence of mind altering plants. [2]He was also present when the ship discovered the Guardian of Forever. [3]When the senior officers were captured by a pair of aliens on Pytris III, DeSalle briefly commanded the Enterprise. [4]
