In addition to me, my brother Ian Kennedy has contributed a HUGE amount to this site in the way of HTML writing, suggestions as to the layout and so on. Although he hasn't done a great deal on the actual content, in terms of overall contribution he should really be regarded as co-author.
On Monday 27th May 2020 Graham was admitted to the local hospital were tests showed that he had metastatic cancer. A secondary infection was affecting his breathing and causing very low blood pressure. The doctors say that the infection flared early on the morning of the 4th May and he died peacefully at approximately 9:45am. He had tested negative for Corona Virus.
From this point on the site will be maintained and updated by Ian Kennedy, Graham's older brother:
Name : | Ian Kennedy |
Age : | 59 |
Nationality : | British |
Status : | Married |
Likes : | Photography, Star Trek (obviously), cats, movies, fast cars, comedy, travel, cruising (as in ships, not women). |
Dislikes : | Losing my brother and best friend at such an early age. |
Occupation : | Retired. After 32 years working for the Diabetes Trials Unit, part of the University of Oxford. Initially as an Applications Programmer, then Senior Applications Programmer, then Head of Programming and finally Head of Informatics. Basically, I started as their very first IT person and ended up heading the team of six people. |
Up until now I have been the technician behind the mechanics of the site, allowing Graham to concentrate on the content without concern for how it worked. I only hope I can live up to the standard of the content Graham has been providing.
