Sidney La Forge was a female human and daughter of Geordi La Forge. As a young girl she met Admiral Picard and Captain Riker, who served on the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D with her father. Later she followed her father into Starfleet. During her time at Starfleet Academy, she earned the nickname "Crash La Forge" due to her crashing a shuttlecraft on two separate occasions. [1]

In 2401, when she was helm officer of the USS Titan, under the command of Captain Liam Shaw. She was on duty when Admiral Picard and Captain Riker came on board, she was unable to hide her joy at seeing them again. She had grown so much that they didn't initially recognise her. [1]

Despite orders from Captain Shaw to the contrary, Seven of Nine ordered, La Forge take the Titan to the Ryton system to allow Picard and Riker to react to Doctor Beverly Crusher's call for help. Eventually, they managed to rescue the Beverly and her son Jack from the SS Eleos XII, before it was destroyed by the Shrike. [2]
