Part of bashir's secret agent holoprogram, Dr Bare was a scientist in the employ of Dr. Hippocrates Noah. She betrayed Noah to assist Bashir after he made romantic overtures to her. On one occasion her physical appearence was replaced with that of Lieutenant Dax after a transporter accident resulted in the Lieutenant's neural patterns being placed into the holosuite's computer system  [1]
