The ONLY thing that lets this film down is the modern cinematic convention (of which Abrams is notorious for) of shaky cameras and super fast editing during fight sequences, it absolutely ruins the action and makes it hard to follow instead of entertaining. Old school action was perfect, you felt every punch, every blow, felt every bone snap. Star Trek is still an EPIC film and I'm looking forward to more! |

This is a great episode with some really tense and emotional scenes in it, Jeri Ryan gives a fantastic performance as well. The episode is well written and leaves you pleasantly surprised, and while it isn't a jaw dropper, this episode is very enjoyable to watch. A damn good effort, the only thing its lacking is a bit more action with the Delta Flyer. |
