TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Doctor Adam Soong [1]
Species : Humans

Human male from the early 21st century, a medical doctor and researcher in genetics. In 2024 he was struck off by the medical council for multiple breaches of regulations and banned from performing any further work in genetics. [2] Soong had produced a series of "children" using his genetic skills, however, each one had suffered from numerous problems. [3]

His latest creation "Kore", who thought she was his daughter, suffered from a condition that effectively made her allergic to sunlight and Earth's atmosphere. Unable to cure this problem, he accepted assistance from Q, who offered a cure for Kore's problems. When the cure turned out to be temporary, Soong agreed to assist Q in preventing Renée Picard from going on the Europa mission. [2]

Soong provided a massive donation to the Europa mission in order to gain a place on the project's board. When he observed that Jean-Luc Picard had improved Renée's state of mind, he attempted to kill her by running her over in his car. Jean-Luc saved her at the last moment but was hit by Soong in her place. [4]

Having been let down by Soong, Q informed Kore of her origins and provided her with the permanent cure. Kore left Soong, vowing never to return.

The Borg Queen contacted Soong and enlisted his help in stealing La Sirena, promising to ensure his legacy. Soong provided a team of mercenaries to help the Queen, which she turned into Borg Drones. [3]

Soong together with the Borg Drones attacked Chateau Picard and attempted to take La Sirena. Ultimately, this effort failed and only Soong was able to escape. Returning home he found that Kore had left him, she later erased his computer files remotely. Having lost his life's work he returned to a paper file labelled "Project Khan". [5]
