Dexa

TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Dexa [1]
Species : Talaxians

A Talaxian, Dexa was one of those who lived on an asteroid settlement encountered by Voyager in 2377. She tended to Neelix after his shuttle crashlanded on her asteroid. Dexa was happy to meet another Talaxian, but she shared the distrust for aliens common to her people and initially refused to talk with Voyager's non-Talaxian crew. She gradually overcame this fear as Voyager and Neelix helped her people to defend themselves from a group of miners intent on destroying the asteroid, and she and Neelix developed a romantic attachment. Neelix chose to remain on the settlement with Dexa and her son Brax when Voyager departed, officially becoming Starfleet's ambassador to the Delta Quadrant. [1] In one of his last communications with the Starship, Neelix admitted that he was planning to ask Dexa to marry him. [2]
