A Human colonist who was born in 2327 in Bergen, Norway, Samuels later moved to the Volon II colony at the edge of Federation and Cardassian space where he married and had two children. He became a member of the Maquis when the Federation signed the colony over to the Cardassians. Samuels planted a protomatter implosion bomb on the Cardassian vessel Bok'Nor, destroying the ship. He was subsequently captured and interrogated by Gul Evek. Samuels made a full confession before committing suicide in his cell. [1]
