General Garkog

TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : General Garkog [1]
Species : Klingons

General Garkog was a male Klingon and Captain of the of a K't'inga class battle cruiser. He was a member of the same house as Captain D'Chok. [1]

In 2259, he was affected by the quantum uncertainty field accidentally produced by a subspace fold when Ensign Uhura transmitted music into it. She had been attempting to find a faster method of subspace communication at the time. The fold caused those affected by it to burst into song and act as if they were part of a musical. [1]

The Klingons found this to be very dishonourable and informed Pike that they were going to destroy the fold. The Enterprise crew discovered that doing so would destroy anything affected by the field. Uhura surmised that if the whole crew sung and danced together they would collapse the field and close the fold. Unwittingly the Klingons arrived just in time to take part in the musical finale. [1]

Spock was able to use his new found appreciation for Klingons to solve relations with General Garkog using yet another blood wine drinking session. [1]
