Bjayzl

TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Bjayzl [1]
Species : Humans

Bjayzl was a female criminal business woman based on Freecloud. Her business interests included kidnapping ex-Borg and harvesting their parts for sale on the black market. She had a substantial workforce including a large number of security personnel. She was normally accompanied by two armed female bodyguards. Her staff also included a Beta Annari, a sentient reptiloid with a hypersensitive sense of smell. [1]

In 2386, Bjayzl posed as a friend of the Fenris Ranges in order to get to know Seven of Nine. From her she became aware of Icheb, another former Borg. She used that information to lure Icheb into a trap, kidnapping him and extracting his Borg implants without anaesthetic. Even though Seven came to his rescue his injuries were so significant that he asked her to kill him, which she reluctantly did. [1]

Bjayzl loaned Bruce Maddox enough money to build an off world lab to continue his work into androids, despite the ban in the Federation. In 2399, Bruce's laboratory was destroyed by the Tal Shiar and he was unable to repay the loan, Bjayzl's first instinct was to have him killed, however, she finally decided to capture him and sell him to the Tal Shiar. [1]

Two weeks later Admiral Picard, disguised as a trader, offered to trade him in exchange for Seven of Nine. Finding the large number of Borg parts present in Seven irresistible, Bjayzl agreed to the trade. Seven of Nine, however, used the opportunity to get close enough to Bjayzl to capture her, intending to kill her in retribution for the death of Icheb. Rios and Picard talked Seven out of killing her and they all beamed back to the ship. Once Maddox was safe onboard, Seven returned to Bjayzl and killed her with two phaser rifles. [1]
