Part of the Captain Proton series broadcast on 20th century Earth and later recreated in hologram form by Lieutenant Paris, Chaotica was an evil dictator who was determined to enslave or destroy the population of the Earth. [2] He was strongly attracted to Arachnia, Queen of the Spider People. When a group of Photonic lifeforms discovered the Proton program active on Voyager's holodeck they mistook Chaotica for a life form like themselves, and fought a short war with his forces. Janeway was able to pose as Arachnia and infiltrate Chotica's Fortress of Doom in order to deactivate his defences and allow Lieutenant Paris to defeat his forces. [3]
