TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Kestra Troi-Riker [1]
Species : Humans / Betazoids

Daughter of William T. Riker and Deanna Troi. Kestra was Human on her father's side and half Human half Betazoid on her mother's. She had an older brother Thaddeus who died at a young age, when he was infected with Mendaxic Neurosclerosis, a silicon virus. In a last ditch attempt to heal "Thad", Kestra and her family moved to the planet Nepanthe, which was known for its regenerative properties. After his death they remained on the planet. [1]

In 2399 Admiral Picard and a young woman named Soji visited the planet. When Picard explained that he thought that Soji was Data's daughter, Kesta was amazed that she was an android. When Soji heard that she became anxious and upset. Although Picard, Will and Deanna all tried to reasure her of Picard's intentions it was Kestra's enthusiasm, fascination and understanding that made the most difference. [1]
