Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Iden [1]
Species : Bajorans

A hologram created by the Hirogen to act as prey in their hunts, Iden became sickened bny the treatment of himself and other holograms and rebelled against the Hirogen in 2377. He led the other holograms in a crusade to free not only Hirogen holograms but all those he encountered in use by other species. [2] With the appearence and personality of a Bajoran, Iden was deeply religious. He created his own religion amongst the holograms he had freed, with himself as a religious figure whom the others prayed to. [3]Iden captured the EMH's program from Voyager, hoping to convince him to join the rebels. The EMH did indeed have sympathies for their cause, and briefly acted against Captain Janeway to preserve their freedom [2], but ultimately Iden was unable to convince him to join them permanently and the EMH destroyed Iden when he threatened the life of a Hirogen. [3]
