Ensign Vanessa Theriault

TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Ensign Vanessa Theriault [1]
Species : Humans

A Human Starfleet officer, Theriault was a crewmember aboard the Archer class scout USS Sagittarius in 2265. Lieutenant Xiong considered her attractive, though rather 'kooky'. She was nevertheless known as a skilled transporter operator. [1]

Theriault was the chief science officer of the Sagittarius. A petite young redhead, Commodore Reyes would remember her for the strong first impression she created when, at the end of a mission briefing, she had presented him with the gift of a hand-knitted scarf she had created in her spare time. [2]

When the Saggitarius was forced to land on one of the Shedai planets, Theriault was separated from the landing party and thrown into a nearby river. She encountered the Shedai known as the Apostate, and convinced him to free the Tholians being held captive on the planet. She was subsequently rescued by Tim Pennington. [2]

In the aftermath of her adventure, Theriault struck up a romantic relationship with Pennington. The relationship cooled when he published classified information about the true purpose behind the Federation's expansion into the Taurus Reach. [3]
