Lorian

Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Lorian [1]
Species : Vulcans

A Human/Vulcan hybrid, Lorian was the child of Trip and T'Pol in an alternate timeline. He was born on the NX-01 after the ship was thrown back in time to 2037 whilst passing through a Xindi subspace vortex. As he grew up he learned to strike a balance between his Human emotions and the Vulcan philosophy of logic. After Trip died Lorian taught himself engineering by reading his father's logs. When Captain Archer died he assumed command, swearing to stop the Xindi weapon. He was unable to prevent the launch of the probe in 2153 - although he had planned to ram it, he hesitated to long to give the order. In 2154 he met the original NX-01 as it reached the vortex. He offered Archer new technology that would allow them to achieve speeds of Warp 6.9. When T'Pol spotted a flaw in the design Archer rejected the offer, planning instead to try a new approach to using the vortex. Lorian did not think this would work, and fearing that the Enterprise would once again fail he stole the ship's plasma injectors and planned to proceed with the mission himself. After a brief exchange of fire Captain Archer managed to convince Lorian to join him in his plan, and the two ships worked togehter to send the NX-01 safely through the vortex. Avoiding the original accident erased Lorian and the future NX-01 from the timeline. [1]
