Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Admiral Franklin Komack [1]
Species : Humans

A male Starfleet officer during 2267, Komak was the head of Starfleet command in Sector 9. [2]

During that year he oversaw the USS Enterprise's mission to Omicron Ceti III; upon learning that the colonists had in fact survived on the planet despite the lethal radiation there, he ordered them evacuated to Starbase 27. [3]

Later that year Admiral Komack ordered the Enterprise to attend the inauguration ceremonies on Altair VI. He denied Captain Kirk's request to divert to Vulcan, citing the importance of the ceremony both as a way to underline the recently ended interplanetary conflict there, and as a demonstration of friendship and strength. Kirk diverted to Vulcan anyway, but Komack approved the action when T'Pau of Vulcan put in an official request for the diversion. [2]

In 2266 Komack was one of the officers on the trial board for the court martial of Commodore Reyes at Starbase 47 (Vanguard). [1]
