Fruit resembling Terran apple. Gary Mitchell enjoyed Kaferian apples, and sought them out whenever he went to their planet of origin. In 2365 he recreated examples of them on Delta Vega using the extraordinary powers he had gained during the Enterprise's mission to penetrate the energy barrier at the edge of the galaxy. [1]

A few weeks later, Oriana D'Amato asked her lover Tim Pennington to bring her some chocolate covered Kaferian apples. [2]
