The Enterprise charts the final disintegration of the planet Psi-2000. The shifting gravity conditions produce a modified form of water, which causes those affected by it to lose all inhibition. Although most of the crew are affected, Dr McCoy is able to devise a treatment in time to avert disaster. In breaking away from the planet at warp speed, the Enterprise experiences a three day time shift - the first time the Federation is able to use this method of time travel. [1]
