Exactly why is Lauren confined to a mental institute? She has never displayed any behaviour outside Human norms, let alone demonstrated any physical threat to herself or others. Okay she's very flirtatious, but so was Vash - it's hardly reason enough to be locked up!
Great Moment :
I love Sisko's attitude when Bashir tries to convince him to recommend surrender to the Dominion. Take no prisoners Ben!
Factoid :
Hilary Shepard Turner also played Hoya in Deep Space Nine's "The Ship".

Hilary Shephard Turner also tried out for the role of Jadzia Dax when DS9 was first made.

Plotline

When Bashir takes charge of a group of super-intelligent genetically engineered misfits, he finds that they excel at intelligence work. But he faces a personal dilemma when they prove that the Federation cannot possibly win the war with the Dominion, and that the only logical course is immediate surrender.
