Plotline

After the arrival of the Klingon leaders T'Kuvma convinces the majority of the houses that he can lead them to victory over the Federation. The Shenzhou is joined by further Starfleet vessels and Georgiou contacts the Klingons and offers to resolve the situation peacefully. The Klingons immediately launch an attack and the Shenzhou is critically damaged in the ensuing battle. Admiral Anderson arrives and once again offers to make peace with the Klingons but his ship is rammed by a cloaked Klingon vessel. The admiral sets his ship to self-destruct destroying some Klingon ships and damaging T'Kuvma's vessel. The Federation fleet retreats.

In the wreckage of the Shenzhou, Burnham escapes from her cell and talks Georgiou into tryng to take T'Kuvma prisoner. She creates a distraction by sending explosives into T'Kuvma's ship in the body of a dead Klingon. They both beam over to the Klingon vessel and a fight ensues. Burnham overpowers Voq, but Georgiou is killed. Burnham shoots at T'Kuvma killing him, before being transported to safety.

Voq promises that T'Kuvma's legacy will live on. Burnham is sentenced to life in prison for her mutiny.
