Hetemit IX is the 9th planet in the Hetemit system. Located in the Alpha quadrant at galactic coordinates 2723.5389. It is the site of a failed Illyrian colony and is often plagued by ion storms. It is a class M planet with a rotation time of 22.9 hours, an orbital period of 537.2 solar days. It had an estimated mass of 6.3402x1024 kilograms, and estimated age of 6.1x109 solar years. Its atmosphere consisted of 71% nitrogen, 26% oxygen, 1.9% argon, 0.3% carbon dioxide, 0.8% nitrous oxide and trace amounts of carbon monoxide and methane. 47% of its surface was covered in water.
