Name Description
Nyria III [1] Planet in the Nyrian system. [1]
Norpin V [2] Location of a retirement colony. [2]
Norellus [3] This is probably but not certainly a planet - Norellus was described as the site of a Deuterium station. [3]
Norcadia prime [4] Planet in the binary Norcadia system, a neighbour to the Pendari System. Norcadia prime was Theta class, and had a population of 260 million inhabitants. [4]
No'nat [5] Klingon planet where the right of MajQa is practiced [5]
Nivoch [6] Planet, possibly near to Bajor. Seska claimed to have planed to meet her brother on Nivoch to celebrate his birthday. [6]
Ninipia Prime [7] Famed for its dancing girls [7]
Nimbus III [8] A planet established as "The Planet of Galactic Peace", to build bonds of cooperation between the Federation, Klingons and Romulans by having a planet in the neutral zone whose population comprised of all three species. The effort was considered a failure, as the major powers never followed up on it. Life on Nimbus III was harsh and the standard of living low. In 2285 it was here that Sybok raised his rebellion, capturing the capital city and taking all three ambassadors hostage. [8]
Nigala IV [9] Planet which the Enterprise-D was due to visit after departing Bre'el IV. [9]
Nibiru [10] A Class M planet, Nibiru was the home world of the Nibirans, a technologically unsophisticated race of humanoids. In 2259 the USS Enterprise was on a mission to survey the planet when they discovered that it threatened with an environmental catastrophe as a result of a gigantic volcano which was near to eruption. As this would have rendered the Nibirans extinct, Captain Kirk chose to intervene to avert the eruption and prevent the disaster. [10]

Afterwards, Kirk lied about their actions on his report to Starfleet. Spock, however, chose to relate all of the details of their mission. Admiral Marcus responded be relieving Kirk of his command. [10]

New Vulcan [10] A planet chosen by the Vulcans as a new homeworld after Nero destroyed Vulcan in the alternate timeline he created. [10]
New Sydney [11] Bilby's wife lived on this planet in 2374. [11] Ezri Dax's family own a mining operation on New Sydney. [12]
New Sausalito [13] Mayweather wondered if Human children would ever grow up on this planet. [13]
New Halana [14] Terraformed by Professor Gideon Seyetik [14]
New Gaul [15] Miranda Vigo was born here [15]
New Earth [16] Captain Janeway and Commander Chakotay were infected with a mysterious virus on this planet in 2372, and had to be left behind by Voyager. They lived there for several months before Voyager's crew managed to find a cure for the disease and return for them. [16]
New Bajor [17] Gamma Quadrant - same as the Crossover one? [17]
Neural [18] Planet visited by Kirk on his first planetary survey mission. On a later visit he found that the Klingons had armed the Hill People. He in turn armed the Valley people. [18]
Nervala IV [19] Nervala IV [19]
Nequencia Alpha [20] A Romulan world, In 2381 Nequencia Alpha was one of the Alpha Quadrant planets targeted in the Borg attack. [20]
Nepenthe [21] Planet in the beta quadrant, known for its regenerative properties. Native species include the Bunnicorn and various birds and insects. William Riker and Deanna Troi settled on the planet in xxxx, hoping that the planet's special nature would be able to save the life of their son Thad, who had developed Mandaxic Neurosclerosis. Unfortunately this didn't work and Thad passed away. Troi and Riker remained on the planet with their daugher Kestra. The planet had a weekly passenger service, which operated from Infinity Lake Spaceport, however, independently operated ships were a rare sight. [21]

In 2399, The Artifact, a disabled Borg Cube operated by the Romulans, was located less than 40,000 light years from the planet. Hugh used assimilated trajector technology on The Artifact to transport Picard and Soji to the planet, where they met with Will and Deanna. [22] In 2399, the planet suffered many attacks by the Kzinti causing the Troi-Rikers to install an extensive security system including shields and perimeter scanners. [21]
Nelvana III [23] Planet in the Nelvana system, in the Romulan Neutral Zone. In 2366 the Enterprise-D travelled to Nelvana III after being told by a Romulan defector that his government had built a secret military base there. The information proved false. [23]
Nel III [24] One of two inhabited planets in the Nel system. The inhabitants reported two cases of unexplained comas shortly after a group of Ullians visited. These were found to be a result of telepathic assaults which one of the Ullians had been carrying out. [24]
Nausicaa [25] Home planet of the Nausicaans. [25]
Nausicaa [20] The home planet of the Nausicaan species. [25]

In 2381 Nausicaa was one of the Alpha Quadrant planets targeted in the Borg attack. The planet was devastated in the attack. [20]
Nasreldine [26] Enterprise-D crew member caught the flu here [26]
Narva [27] Planet on which radiation was claimed to have killed all the adults, leaving large numbers of orphans. The story was told by a group of confidence tricksters and is highly unlikely to be true - the planet itself may or may not be fictional. [27]
Narendra III [28] Site of the loss of the Enterprise C [28]
Napinne [29] In the delta quadrant; Voyager stopped to pick up food supplies here in 2371. [29]
Nahmi IV [30] This planet suffered from an outbreak of Correllium fever in 2366. The Mikulaks sent a shipment of special tissue samples to the planet to assist in containing the outbreak. The Enterprise-D transported the samples. [30]
