The USS Enterprise is thrown into this time after an accidental encounter with a black star. Although significant pollution of the timeline results, the crew are able to correct the damage and return to their proper time. The incident took place less than a wekk before the first landing of a Human on Earth's moon, a very significant step in early space exploration. [2]
