A Human female Starfleet officer, McLellan was the second officer of the USS Sagittarius, an Archer class scout-ship, when it visited Starbase 47 (Vanguard) in 2266. She was a lissome woman with raven-black hair and a and pale-complexioned. [1]

When the Sagittarius crashed on a Shedai planet in 2266, McLellan lost a leg when she was attacked by a Shedai defence system. Doctor Babitz was able to successfully re-attach the limb with Shedai technology. [1]
