A member of the medical staff of the NCC 1701 Enterprise [1], Jabilo [2] M'Benga interned on a Vulcan ward and was considered an expert on Vulcan medicine. [1] In 2265 he served on Starbase 47 (Vanguard) in the Taurus Reach. [2] He would later transfer to the USS Enterprise, where his expertise with Vulcans was invaluable when Spock was shot whilst visiting the planet Neural. [1]
