An engineer aboard a Kantare ship, Ezral felt responsible for the death of most of the crew when the vessel was wrecked by an ion storm. He recreated most of the crew in holographic form to serve as companions to himself and his daughter, Liana. After meeting with the NX-01 crew in 2151 Ezral came to realise that Liana needed the company of real people, and set off for his home world. [1]
