TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Lieutenant Niwara [1]
Species : Caitian

A Starfleet officer, Niwara was a scout on the USS Sagittarius in 2266. She was the only member of the crew who was hairier than the Denobulan Petty Officer First Class Salagho Threx, who had an unrequited romantic interest in her. Niwara had a reputation as a loner. [1]

When the Sagittarius was engaged by a Shedai defence system and forced down on Jinoteur IV, Niwara and Ensign Theriault were one of several teams sent to decoy the Shedai away from the ship. They were separated in a Shedai attack and Theriault was swept away in a river. Niwara and Commander Terrell were sent to look for Theriault, but were again attacked by the Shedai. Niwara was killed in the attack. Her last act was to activate a signal dampener and throw it to Commander Terrell, saving him from the attack. [1]
