Captain of the USS Kelvin in both the prime timeline and the Kelvin timeline, Robau was present for the branch event between those two universes when his ship encountered the Narada in 2233. The ship was disabled and Nero ordered Robau to take a shuttle to the Narada, which Robau did. When he was unable to answer Nero's questions regarding Ambassador Spock, Nero impaled him with a large pike, killing him. Robau turned command of the Kelvin over to George Kirk on his departure; his death signalled another attack on the Kelvin, leading to its destruction. [1]
