Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Ensign Walter J. Pierce [1]
Species : Humans

A member of Starfleet, Pierce was partially telepathic as his maternal grandmother had been born on Betazed. During the construction of the Enterprise-D he was serving at Utopia Planitia; he was involved with Ensign Finn, but she was having an affair. When Pierce found out he killed both Finn and her lover, then committed suicide by jumping into a plasma stream. The accident caused an empathic signature to be imprinted on part of the ship, which caused crewmembers to hallucinate events based on Pierce's experiences even years later. [1]
