A Norcadian, Mezoti was born in 2368. She was assimilated by the Borg at an early age and spent several years as a drone. When she was eight her cube was disabled by a pathogen which killed every adult drone on board. She was disconnected from the collective, and eventually decided to abandon the cube. [2] Voyager's EMH removed her implants and she began to slowly regain her individuality. [3] Although Voyager was unable to contact the Norcadians, Azan and Rebi's people, the Wysanti agreed to provide a home for Mezoti and in 2377 she left Voyager. [4]
