Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Akorem Laan [1]
Species : Bajorans

A noted Bajoran poet, Akorem vanished in the Denorious Belt in 2172 and was believed lost. In fact he had gone through the Bajoran Wormhole and met the Prophets. Akorem returned after what from his point of view was just a few minutes. He believed that he was the true Emissary of the Prophets, a role Captain Sisko was initially happy to give up. However, Akorem made some questionable decisions as the Emissary and Captain Sisko eventually challenged him for the role. Akorem returned to the wormhole and was sent back to his own time by the Prophets, resulting in minor changes to the timeline. [1]
