A Starfleet cadet and member of Nova Squadron, Sito was secretly using training flights to prepare to perform the Kolvoord Starburst formation at the Academy commencement ceremony in 2368. When one of the flights ended in the death of Cadet Albert, Sito conspired to cover up the truth at the inquiry. She remained in the Academy after Cadet Locarno took the blame for the conspiracy. [2] After her graduation Captain Picard requested Sito be assigned to the Enterprise-D, fearful that the blemish on her record would mean that she did not receive a fair chance to continue her career. Whilst on board she was assigned to a covert mission in Cardassian space; she was killed in action during the mission. [3]
