TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Akeylah Karumé [1]
Species : Humans

A Human woman, Karumé was a member of Ambassador Jetanien's staff on Starbase 47 (Vanguard) in 2265. She was a tall, dark skinned woman with a love of unsweetened coffee. [1]

Karumé was appointed as envoy to the Klingon delegation after the Klingon Ambassador stabbed the previous envoy during a fight. Sandesjo considered that Karumé was rather hot headed for the appointment, but thought that whilst this would annoy the Klingons, they would at least understand her. In the event, her forceful manner worked very well with the Klingon Ambassador when she earned his respect by threatening to castrate him on their first meeting. [1]
