A Vidiian Doctor, Pel was rescued by Voyager in 2372. The EMH transferred her mind into a holographic body as a temporary measure, and the two became romantically involved. Pel was reluctant to return to her own Phage-ravaged body, but eventually agreed to do so. [2] Later in the year Pel was able to assist Voyager in finding a cure for the virus afflicting Chakotay and Janeway. [3]
