Plotline

Voyager's latest contact with Starfleet brings some disturbing news for the EMH - his designer is dying of a mysterious disease. Desperate to save the man he regards as his father, the EMH is transmitted back home. Unfortunately, his search for a cure is complicated by some unexpected news regarding the fate of his fellow Mark 1 EMH's and by the grumpy attitude of his patient.
