Great Moment :
The NX-Alpha prototype! It's rare that Enterprise produces a ship that looks right for this period, but this one is perfect as a successor to the Phoenix.
Body Count :
Zero.
Factoid :
We get something of a timeline for warp speed records in this episode; AG Robinson was the first person to break the warp 2 barrier. Twenty months later warp 3 was broken, and five years after that the keel of Enterprise was laid down. If we knew how long Enterprise took to build, we would be able to date these events precisely - but judging by Archer's appearence the warp 2 flight could have been no more than ten years or so prior to the first season of Enterprise in 2151.

Plotline

Archer recieves a message from Earth that his old friend AG Robinson has died in a climbing accident. Whilst he and T'Pol investigate a dark matter nebula, Archer recounts the story of his time on the NX development program, and how he and Robinson competed to be the first person to break warp 2.
