Why on Earth did they make Quark a woman in this episode? I mean, okay, he needed somebody to pretend to be a Ferengi female. Why not Leeta? Why not Dax? Why not pay a Dabo girl to do it? Because the writers wanted Quark in drag, that's why.

Plotline

With Grand Nagus Zek deposed for allowing women to wear clothes and make a profit, the Ferengi alliance is thrown into chaos.
