I think this episode is a really good one, and it shows why relations between the Klingons and Humans broke down by the 23rd Century. It also shows how much honor the Klingons had lost by the 22nd Century. I mean, damn it, they were annexing a colony yet they treated it like nothing. Not only that, but we see that Duras has a long standing line of dishonor. This is a solid episode. |

Evokes nostalgia for one of the best films, The Undiscovered Country, while clearly lacking the film's budget. Nevertheless this is a character story which sheds light on an unexplored aspect of Klingon civilisation, showing how unappreciated the role of lawyer is yet also setting out the character's basic desire to see justice done, a desire Archer's plight reawakens. There are a number of weak episodes in ENT's first two seasons. This makes up for some of them. |
