Review : I found this episode to be really good. I believe this episode is hitting on the idea that a group of people with a disease can be outcast due to the way in which it was contracted being seen to be abominable/repulsive. Well done to the writers for taking a good hard hit at these type of stigmas. I also liked the way in which the Vulcans are portrayed in Enterprise. It's nice to see that they havn't been the exact same type of Vulcan from the time of Sureks following to the 24th Century. As will be seen by the end of series 4 there are different types of Vulcans in the same time period - from those that embrace emotion to those who dont and then different ways of interpreting the teachings of Surak. It was nice to see that although Vulcans have been embracing logic that they are still finding it difficult to let go of old habits. That they have developed the idea that mind melding is abominable as it was the kind of thing that was used to hurt people before turning to logic clearly not realising that mind melding was apart of them and could be used for good.
