Re: Fury
Why, if anyone can pull you back from the brink its yourself.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Fury
If her fit was simply the result of the overwhelming power she obtained, there would be no "brink" to have crossed.

Re: Fury
Series of events;
Tuvok helped her unlock her powers.
They grow to fast and force her away from the ship and her friends.
Isolated and alone with powers she cant handle she goes kinda nuts.
She comes to blame Voyager for this since they took her away from her home and unlocked her powers.
She tracks them down and tried to destroy them.
The younger Kes manages to remind her about how she feels about the people on Voyager.
It really doesnt seem to far out there, sure its a bit silly but not that bad.

Yeah, OK.

is the bit I referred to. There is an actual traumatic event, whether real or perceived, which serves as a focus for her falling a couple cards short of a deck.Teaos wrote:She comes to blame Voyager for this since they took her away from her home and unlocked her powers.

She must have "forgot" that she made that holo recording of herself. She looked kind of surprised.

I guess having godlike powers messes with your long-term memory.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
