Cookies and the law
There's a new EU law coming in a few months that requires us to tell you what our site does and doesn't do with cookies. It also requires us to ask permission for any cookie we use that is not required to make the site work. In light of this we have re-worked a some of the pages that used to use cookies.

We used to use cookies to remember the options you had chosen on forms like the additional personnel, additional species, size comparison, ship and station internals and search pages. These pages now use another method to achieve the same results. This avoids us having to ask your permission before providing this useful addition to the site.

Just so that you know there are a few places where we do still use cookies. We have documented them on our new Cookie usage page. You can access this page at any time from the new button at the top left of this window.

Poll
We asked "The original "City on the Edge of Forever" script showed members of the Enterprise crew dealing and using drugs, but Roddenberry changed this to an accidental overdose as he didn't want the crew depicted that way. Did this improve or harm the episode?" and you voted for "Improved it" with a winning score of 213 out of 255 votes (83.5%).
